1 NOW in its 15th year, you'd think The Arches might have become part of the establishment, but it's doing its best to remain as edgy ever. The Arches Theatre Festival kicks off on Tuesday and includes the two winners of this year's Arches Awards for Stage Directors: K is a vaudevillian nightmare about voyeurism, while The James Dean Death Scene follows a group of disenfranchised 20somethings in Glasgow, for whom a new immigrant is the easiest of targets. Other shows include The Factory, with artist-in-residence Al Seed, and Five In The Morning, pictured, in which swimmers are under the control of their pool's intercom.
