TODAY

TODAY is the last chance to see Belinda Guidi's exhibition at Tramway in Glasgow. The Italian artist, now based in Glasgow, explores the physical and monumental aspects of society as expressions of our contemporary values and looks at the idea of the modern city as an evolving social sculpture. Influenced by the simplicity and power of the black and white films of 1950s Italian cinema, Guidi considers the sources of power, beauty and scale in a city landscape and evaluates how they impact on us physically, culturally and socially.
