ABERDEEN-based Stewart Milne has poached senior executives Gordon Innes and George Gourlay from key rivals to strengthen his housebuilding operations in the central belt.

Stewart Milne Group plans to boost the number of residential units built in the region from 500 to about 600 a year by 2007. The move is part of a drive to double group annual turnover from around pounds-200 million in 2004 to more than pounds-400m by 2010.
