THE Dundee-based firm Alliance Trusts are to boost their exposure to the bond markets with the appointment of a fixed-interest specialist as they place greater emphasis on generating an "absolute return" for their investors.
The company, led by chief executive Alan Harden who joined from Citigroup in January, has also hired a new chief operating officer, Roland Strickland.
