THE goal facing Stuart Wilson at Augusta National this week is clearly defined. It is 25years since a British or Irish amateur made the cut at the Masters, and Wilson intends to be the next.

The winner of the silver medal at the Open Championship last July, hopes his experiences at Royal Troon, where he was paired with Mark O'Meara and Michael Campbell over the opening two rounds and Lee Westwood in the third, will stand him in good stead at Augusta.
