BANGLADESH delivered a major World Cup shock yesterday with a 67- run win over the world's No 1 one day international side South Africa in the Super Eights.

The Bangladeshis, who had progressed to the second stage after a surprise win over India in their group, followed their innings of 251 for eight - their best World Cup score - by dismissing the South Africans for 184 at the Providence Stadium.
