SIR Alex Ferguson only watched Dion Dublin out of courtesy. "I had difficulty imagining that we were talking about a man who could make an impact with Manchester United, " Ferguson recalled of the time he was sent a videotape by Cambridge United manager John Beck and encouraged to consider his striker, Dublin, for Old Trafford.
