WHEN Albert Einstein came up with a theory of insanity, the great physicist probably didn't foresee it being applied to Scottish football. But according to Pearse Flynn, the would-be owner of Livingston, it fits the framework of failure across the national game perfectly.

"Einstein's definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results," said the Irish tycoon, whose Lionheart consortium have struck a one-year management deal with Kroll, the club's administrators.
