THE brothers Miliband insist they are the best of buddies as they square up against each other to become leader of the Labour Party. You needn't be much of a cynic to question that claim. Modern relationships leave an online paper trail, a tail of tweets and blog mentions that trace the path of a friendship. Political allies tweet each other; even enemies write to each other sometimes. Not the Milibands. They don't seem to have contacted each other once since the Election, let alone since they decided to play out their sibling rivalry on the second-largest stage in Britain, Labour having already performed their exeunt from the biggest arena.
Judging by the vigour with which Ed (or possibly - dare we suggest it - one of his aides) has taken to Twitter, the lack of communication between the two suggests their relationship is looking more Noel and Liam than Jedward.See the full content of this document
