EAST will respond to west this week as Edinburgh City Council announces the winning bidder for the first phase of a (pounds) 1.4 million rebranding campaign for the city on Tuesday.
The winner, which is being chosen from a short list of six brand consultancies, will consult the city's public and private sectors to develop a set of brand values to sell the city's strengths to foreign employees, investors and tourists.
