I HAVE lost a dear friend, and the boxing world has lost one of its fiercest competitors with the violent passing of former- lightweight champion Diego "Chico" Corrales.
While it is deeply painful, alas it is no surprise that Chico's death would be a violent one. Whether in the boxing ring, or in the larger ring of life, Chico was a man of action.
