DUNDEE HSFP switched their Premiership clash with Heriot's from frostbound Mayfield to Dalnacraig, the ground of their affiliated cricket club, but any hopes they had of running up a cricket score were snuffed out by a resolute visiting defence and the Taysiders had to be content with a 13-8 success.

A 10th-minute penalty from Barry Jones gave the home side the lead, but they were soon on the back foot when Andy Douglas powered in for a Heriot's try after a slick build-up.
