SCOTTISH Water intends to spend GBP14 million on extra engineers and technicians to get leakages under control after it emerged that it had missed its leak-prevention target by 70 million litres per day last year.
Having admitted last week that its daily leakages amounted to 924 million litres, the utility will now go to the regulator to agree a new spending plan so that it can pay the GBP14m over the next two years.See the full content of this document
