RESPECTED researchers have warned that figures published by the Scottish Executive to show the cost of providing free personal care are "inaccurate, inconsistent, meaningless" and "potentially seriously misleading".
Margaret and Jim Cuthbert, a husband and wife team who run the Edinburgh-based economic group Analytical Consulting, say fluctuations in the figures and other anomalies make it impossible to gain an accurate idea of how much the policy really costs.See the full content of this document
