THE eco-friendly inhabitants of an isolated Scottish peninsula are threatening legal action over a decision to site a vast salmon farm in the water in front of their homes.
The residents of Scoraig, south of Ullapool, in Wester Ross are outraged that the Crown Estate, an archaic body that manages 55-per cent of the foreshore and all the seabed out to the 12-mile limit, has ignored their concerns and given the go-ahead for a salmon farm at Annat Bay on Loch Broom.See the full content of this document
