AND so Homecoming has entered into its final stage. What began on the River Doon in January entered the final straight last night on the banks of the Clyde, as Homecoming Live, one of the major events of the year-long celebration's final weekend, swathed the SECC in lights as purple as Highland heather.
Despite the well-publicised sluggish ticket sales, Homecoming Live almost sold out. Six thousand tickets had been sold for the event, featuring the likes of Deacon Blue, The View and Eddi Reader, after it swapped its original location, the hangar of the main hall, for three smaller venues within the complex.See the full content of this document
