A FEW weeks ago, the new Scotland captain, Jason White, outlined his aims for the autumn Test series in which he would lead his country for the first time. As articulate in conversation as he is uncompromisingly fierce in his other area of expertise, White highlighted various elements that he believed were the significant performance indicators for his side. In short, he said that two wins from three would add up to a decent pass mark.
