THE internet savings market has hotted up, this time in favour of instant access accounts rather than fixed rate bonds or Isas.
A week ago, Leeds Building Society launched an easy access online account paying 3.05-per cent, some 0.25-per cent higher than comparable accounts, but this week Alliance & Leicester elbowed its way to the top of the table - only to be outdone by the Coventry Building Society.
