THE NHS has struck a deal with Australian medical device maker Compumedics to further develop a promising treatment for stroke patients discovered by Borders physician Dr Paul Syme.
Scottish Health Innovations Limited (SHIL), a commercial arm of the NHS, has brokered an agreement that will see Compumedics work with Syme to create a more user-friendly version of his ultrasound technique, used to identify and treat small vessel vascular disease.See the full content of this document
