FIRST-TIME buyers are to be given a GBP24 million boost on to the property ladder when a new funding package is launched tomorrow which will see hundreds of Scots enter a shared equity scheme with housing associations.

The announcement comes weeks after it was announced that the number of first-time buyers in Scotland had fallen to a 20-year low.
