Summary
I WAS as disappointed as anyone else to see Celtic beaten in the Champions League on Wednesday and Motherwell's Uefa Cup campaign fizzle out before it had even started. October has only just started and Gordon Strachan's side are the only Scottish team left in European competition, while the national side already have their work cut out to salvage their World Cup qualifi cation hopes.
It all makes for grim reading compared with the euphoria and the feel-good factor surrounding the Scottish game less than a year ago.See the full content of this document
