WHEN rumours started swirling around Edinburgh on Friday that Craig Levein was in the frame for the managerial vacancy at Blackburn Rovers, the parlous situation at Tynecastle really hit home. Hearts are a club split asunder, with only their outstanding manager keeping the financially struck ship afloat.
The speculation could hardly have come at a worse time. Hearts face massive demonstrations from their own fans at today's televised Scottish Premierleague match against Rangers and the Uefa Cup tie against Braga follows at the bitterly contentious venue of Murrayfield on Thursday.
