Summary

Camping. This conjures up some less- than-pleasant childhood memories. Like being a bit too close to nature - slugs, in particular, on my pillow, to be more precise. Admittedly, that was a particularly wet week in west Wales with a dodgy groundsheet. Alas, it was enough to put me off for life.

But camping on the Continent, now that could persuade me to think again. All the fun stuff without the dampeners. Perhaps even beasties who don't wish to share your pillow.
