IT has been quite a week for Paul Myners, chairman of the Guardian Media Group. Having had to swallow the news that his company was not going to get anything out of the Emap auction, he then faced calls for dismissal in one of his other roles as head of the Personal Accounts Delivery Authority from prominent Tories after he criticised the party on the BBC's Question Time.
