Summary

This is a huge thing for me personally. It is a chance to put our wits against Brazil. It's a major test for the team and for myself at this juncture. It is not a competitive match, but there is a realisation this is a little bit of a marker for us to see where we are. It will focus the players' minds. This will not be treated as a friendly by Scotland. It will be akin to the game against Spain in October and it ticks a lot of boxes for us.

We thought about playing in Malaysia and Dubai, but this came up and right away I thought it was a no-brainer. It will be a real thrill for the players, the supporters and for me. When I agreed to the football side of things, there were other issues to be taken care of. That's taken three weeks.
