THERE has been any number of admiring adjectives applied to Kilmarnock's style of play this season, but rarely have their efforts been described as resolute. Yet it was those more prosaic principles that earned the Rugby Park side this victory yesterday, even if their more pleasing attributes belatedly added an appetising garnish.
As well as effectively ensuring their presence in the upper half of the division for the remainder of the campaign, the display also spoke of a determination not to allow months of fine work to wither as the buds of spring begin to bloom.
