The British commercial property sector has weathered a difficult year after a dramatic rise in empty office space in several key centres, according to a new report.
Figures provided by chartered surveyors King Sturge show that the vacancy rates hit 16% in London, 13% in Birmingham and 8% in Leeds by December 2003. More than 10% of Edinburgh's stock is empty and Glasgow's rate is also creeping towards 10%.See the full content of this document
