STUDENTS may be notorious for living on a diet of pizza and beer, but now an award-winning scheme to encourage the use of fresh and organic produce is to be introduced at a Scottish university.

Edinburgh University Students' Association (EUSA) will become the first higher education body in the UK to adopt the Soil Association's Food For Life programme, which has already been established in dozens of schools.
