Summary
BEINN Teallach, 914m/3002ft, not far north of Tulloch in Lochaber, just makes it into the Munro list by a metre and wasn't given Munro status until some 20 years ago, but you can link it with neighbouring Beinn a'Chaorainn, 1049m/3442ft, for a rugged 10-mile circuit which takes you above the big empty quarter of the Braeroy deer forest.
Access to Beinn a'Chaorainn is easier than it looks. A forestry track runs from Roughburn on the A96 Laggan to Spean Bridge road in a roughly northwest direction for a while before turning back on itself to head east. Just beyond the first gate a forest break and a muddy path give access to the open slopes of Coire Clachaig, which lead eventually to Beinn a'Chaorainn's southwest ridge.See the full content of this document
