For the face Luminous and flawless is what we all aim for in a base and Sisley's Oil Free Long Lasting Fluid Foundation, pounds- 44, (30ml) gives an even, natural looking colour while minimising imperfections. Expensive I admit, but a little goes a long way. (1) For the cheeks Urban Decay do a lovely rose pink powder blush pounds- 18, (3.8g). It's called Quickie, as it perfectly replicates the slightly flushed cheek tones of an recently ravished milkmaid. (2) For the eyes Asmoky plum eye is an ideal counterpoint to that chaste pale complexion, and Stila's All Over Shimmer Eyes, pounds-11, (1g) are brilliant little pots of loose ultra-fine metallic shimmering eyeshadow. Richly pigmented No 5, a deep purple plum shade is suitably dramatic. (3) Ifyou don't do smoky eyes then Estee Lauder's Pure Colour Eyeliner, pounds-17, (3ml), in Plum Cassis is a real attention grabber, and if you don't know by now that violet and purple eyeliners are more flattering than black, then I might as well give up extolling their virtues. (4) For the lips Sisley's Long Lasting Lipstick, pounds-21, (3.4g) is enriched with calendula to ensure lips stay hydrated. Shade L19 is one of those perfect grown- up pinks that can be very intimidating; very French in an Emmanuel Beart kind of way. (5) If girlish charm is your thing then MAC's LustreGlass, pounds-10.50, (4.8g) in Morning Glory is a barely- there lavender with a pearl finish. (5) Pout Plump, pounds-16, (10ml) is Pout's lip treatment gloss containing Maxi-Lip to plump up your lips. (7) Finally, coveted by girls who want to be women and women who want to go back to being girls, is the new fragrance from Prada, pounds-55, (80ml).See the full content of this document
