THE premier organisation working to encourage new bands in Scotland has warned that it is in danger of folding and desperately needs secure, long-term funding.

Alec Downie, organiser of Nemis (New Music in Scotland) said that the group is continuing at the moment with the backing of its board despite its future being "in jeopardy".
