Readers' views Derision and devolution I READ Sean Connery's article with interest (News, September 19). I too am tired of the Scottish parliament being constantly decried by the Scottish press. I'm English yet find myself defending the parliament (not just the Holyrood building) to Scots.
Do many Scots, including and especially certain elements of the Scottish press, not realise that by constantly criticising the parliament they are making Scotland a laughing stock? Yes, there are many flaws (I for one am in disagreement with some of the current health policies), but I recognise that there are also a huge number of positives, such as the Tenements (Scotland) Bill which passed on Thursday.See the full content of this document
