BOWLS: Prestwick, West Lothian and Turriff, who have all claimed the Scottish Cup in the last five years, notched up victories yesterday, to keep their hopes alive of regaining the title, and Edinburgh are also in the quarter-final frame.

ICE HOCKEY: Dundee Stars are under pressure to win against Fife Flyers on Tayside tonight. It's their first home game in the British National League play-offs after two road games. Karry Biette, Flyers' assistant coach, said: "You've got to win your home games otherwise you have it all to do."
