RONALD WATERREUS is clearly enjoying being first among equals. The former PSV goalkeeper controversially started the season ahead of fit-again former Rangers club captain Stefan Klos, but the Dutchman clearly has no inferiority complex about the matter.

The 34-year-old, who recently reached a verbal agreement on a contract extension which will take him through to the summer of 2007, admitted last night that he believes the confidence of his manager in him is unlikely to change whether he makes a mistake in the coming weeks or not.
