Just as it was announced that two UK-based scientists had won the Nobel Prize for Physics for inventing a ground-breaking material with amazing properties that could help build super-fast computers, doctors issued health warnings related to the use of hi- tech gadgets.
Andrei Geim and Konstantin Novoselov, of Manchester University, have invented graphene, a flat sheet of carbon just one atom thick. It is almost completely transparent, but also extremely strong and a good conductor of electricity.
