THE most powerful man in world rugby has backed efforts to bring a major international sevens tournament to Scotland.
Speaking in Melrose yesterday, Syd Millar, the former Ireland and Lions prop who chairs the International Rugby Board, the game's world governing body, described the Borders town as "the home of sevens" and a natural stop on the IRB's prestigious international sevens circuit.See the full content of this document
