RYAN Sharp of Aberdeen is something of a man on a mission this year. Four weeks ago he got his season off to a terrific start by winning the opening round of the FIA GT Championship at Silverstone. Today he will fire up his Aston Martin DBR9 gunning for backto-back victories on two counts.

"Getting the season off to a terrifi c start by winning at Silverstone was great, " said the 28-year-old, who will partner Austria's former Formula One racer Karl Wendlinger in the two-hour race , "but now we have to continue the good start and win again at Monza.
