Summary
YOU give arguments for and against banning high heels from workplaces (Argument of the week, Opinion, August 9). While I appreciate that not all high heels are stilettos, most nowadays seem to be. As both a medical doctor and a ceilidh musician I would recommend that stiletto heels be avoided for ceilidh and other dances. They damage dance floors. They cause wearers to trip or fall and are also dangerous to other dancers.
I hope never to see a stiletto through someone's foot, though I fear it is bound to happen.See the full content of this document
