IT is an old tradition of wedding speech etiquette that the best man should always reply on behalf of the bridesmaid. At the end of a week in which the SFA decided their former frontrunner Mark McGhee wasn't actually the best man for the job at Hampden, the Celtic manager who was best man at McGhee's own wedding responded with his own glowing assessment of the managerial credentials of a good pal and former tenant who had been so cruelly left standing at the altar.
