Summary
The Cobden Club, London, on a cold November morning. Inside it's nice and snug, a tight space rammed with TV crew and dozens of extras in mid-1960s garb. Think miniskirts, back-combed hair, narrow suits and ties. It is, in fact, the set of The Long Firm, a four- part BBC adaptation of Jake Arnott's cult novel. Today they're shooting scenes set in the Stardust Club in 1965, the aspiring Soho night spot owned by the book's gangster protagonist Harry Starks.
