ALL things considered, it was probably not the smartest idea in history to warm up for a drive in the Suzuki Alto by paying a visit to the gleaming temple of automotive erotica that is the Porsche centre at Braehead last week. When you're about to indulge in a bit of cheapas-chips motoring, the last thing you want is a head swirling with images of Boxsters, Caymans, Panameras and various other models you would happily pay good money for the privilege of licking.
For as admirable as it may be in many respects, anyone whose juices start fl owing at the thought of the Alto would be better advised to book an appointment with their urologist than arrange a test drive.
