IS there a more tedious saga in Scottish football than the continuing uncertainty over the position of head coach at Hearts? Another week, another shuffling of the deckchairs, another descent into shambles.

Valdas Ivanauskas has officially stepped down, but apparently is still on Vladimir Romanov's payroll and could have a wider role to play with Hearts and the owner's other clubs, FBK Kaunas and MTZ Ripo. Frankly, who cares?
